Case is being taken up for hearing through Video Conferencing due to Covid819 pandemic.

Prayer in the petition under Section 12 read with Section 2(b) of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, is for initiating proceedings against the respondents for intentionally and willfully disobeying order (Annexure P81) dated 15.12.2020 in CWP No.15184 of 2019. 3.

Learned counsel contends that vide order dated 15.12.2020, CWP No.15184 of 2019, was disposed of in terms of decision dated 09.01.2020 in CWP No.12690 of 2016 vide which impugned order dated 18.04.2017 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Mansa was set aside and the Deputy Commissioner, Mansa/competent authority was directed to decide the petitioner's claim afresh as per policy dated 08.11.2011 and guidelines dated 03.03.2014 within 03 months by passing a RAJNEESH SHARMA 2021.07.01 17:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned counsel further contends that now the competent COCP No.1181 of 2021 authority has taken decision and accepted the claim of the petitioner, therefore, the petitioner does not wish to prosecute the Contempt Petition and the same may be disposed of, as such. 5.

In view of the respondents having taken a decision, accepting the claim of the petitioner in terms of order dated 15.12.2020, there is sufficient compliance with orders dated 15.12.2020 in CWP No.15184 of 2019, therefore, no further orders are called for in the contempt petition.

Accordingly, the contempt petition is disposed of as not calling for any orders.
