(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.157 dated 14.09.2020 registered under Sections 353, 186, 332, 148, 149, 188, 269, 270 and 427 IPC, at Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar.

Status report by way of an affidavit dated 03.07.2023 of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Srti Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar, filed on behalf of the respondent-State, in the Court, is taken on record. Copy whereof has been supplied to the learned counsel opposite.

Vide order dated 19.04.2023 passed by this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.

CRM-M-18988-2023 (O&M) -2Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Avtar Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 19.04.2023 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
