Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the termination order dated 17.02.2006, petitioner preferred an appeal dated 29.05.2006 before respondent no. 1. However, no decision has been taken thereon till date.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of court, Ms. Ishneet Kaur, AAG Punjab, who is present in court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondent(s). Learned State counsel at the outset submits that in case appeal is still pending and same is found to be maintainable, a decision thereon shall be taken at the earliest, in any case not later than two months. In view of statement made by State counsel, no further direction is necessary. Petition is hereby disposed of.
