1. The petitioners have approached this Court seeking issuance of a direction to Civil Judge (Junior Division), Amritsar to decide his stay application (Annexure P-2) expeditiously.

2. It has been submitted that the petitioners were co-owners in suit property along with respondent No.1-Arvinder Singh who has sold the same to respondents No.2 & 3. Learned counsel has submitted that respondents No.2 & 3 after purchasing the same are renovating the property in question which is partly commercial and partly residential in nature and that the ingress and egress of the petitioners who are residing on the first floor has been obstructed from the front side by respondents No.2 & 3 who have installed one big shutter in the front by removing three small shutters including the shutter which was access to the stairs to the first GAURAV SOROT 2020.07.06 16:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CR-2002-2020 (O&M) floor and that now the petitioners are constrained to have access to the first floor from the rear side of the building only.

3. Keeping in view the prevalent conditions on account of spread of Pandemic COVID-19, this Court does not deem it appropriate to issue any such direction which may jeopardize the safety of the Judicial Officer, staff or the litigants. However, it is directed that in case it is found feasible and safe, the trial Court may make efforts to dispose of the application on the next date fixed.

4. The case stands disposed of accordingly.
