Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to official respondents to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 6.10.2015. Certificate (Annexure P-3) in this regard has been issued by Gurudwara Guru Nanak Niwas Sahib, Village Karor Kalan, Tehsil Kharar, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali). Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-4. Learned counsel for the petitioners further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation (Annexure P-5) to Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala-respondent No. 2 but no action has been taken so far.
