(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.41 dated 07.03.2018, registered under Section 420, 406 IPC and Section 24 of Immigration Act, Police Division No.7, District Jalandhar (P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 19.03.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court on 30.04.2019 along with receipt of `15,000/- to get their statements recorded. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.380 dated 02.05.2019 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide letter bearing No.1302G/JRK dated 03.05.2019. CRM-M-35652 of 2018 --2-- According to the report, ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, is satisfied that the parties have compromised the matter voluntarily without any fear, threat or coercion from any side. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender.

Considering the report of ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jalandhar, dated 02.05.2019 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid FIR No. 41 dated 07.03.2018 along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner only.

Disposed of accordingly.
