CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE INDERJIT SINGH

Present:

Mr.M.S.Saini, Advocate for the petitioner.

**** INDERJIT SINGH, J.

Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.0712 dated 07.12.2018 under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468 and 471 IPC, registered at Police Station DLFII, Gurugram. Notice of motion was issued. Learned State counsel appeared and contested the petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have gone through the record. The perusal of the record shows that allegations against the petitioner is that he has taken `1.68 crores from the complainant by showing some agreements that he is purchasing land from other persons. CRM No.M-17475 of 2019 -2State counsel argued the petitioner had joined investigation but he has not handed over original agreements. Learned State counsel further informed that there is no valid agreement with the petitioner, rather, he has forged the agreements etc., on the basis of which, he has cheated the complainant for such a huge amount.

Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances of the present case and in view of the serious allegations against the petitioner, I find that petitioner is required for custodial interrogation and no ground is made out for grant of anticipatory bail to him. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
