Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the official respondents to release the full and final retiral benefits, as raised in the legal notice dated 01.03.2019 (Annexure P-4) and in representation dated 12.04.2019 (Annexure P-5) payable to the petitioner on his retirement from the services of respondent No.4 along with interest.

The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The situation was not different even on the last date of hearing. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
