(Oral) This petition has been filed under Section 438 of the code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking pre-arrest bail in case FIR No.238 dated 23.12.2021, registered under Section 342 of IPC, 1860, (Sections 365, 368, 120-B, 372, 376 511 of IPC and Sections 04 and 18 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, added later on) at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, District Jalandhar. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jasbir Singh submits that in pursuance of the order dated 05.08.2022, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for the said purpose.
