1. In view of the notification issued by the Government of India dated 17.08.2023, whereby Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ashok Kumar Verma (Retd.) has been appointed as Chairman of the Educational Tribunal, Punjab, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Education Tribunal Forum under The Punjab Affiliated Colleges (Securities of Services) Act, 1974 as amended in 2007, for redressal of his/her grievances.

2. All the pending applications also stand disposed of.

3. The cases where the petitioners have already preferred appeal before the concerned Educational Tribunal, the same shall be taken up on merits by the Tribunal without being influenced in any manner by the orders passed by this Court in the present writ petition.

4. Learned counsel would also be free to move appropriate application seeking any interim order, if need so arises.
