Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.90 dated 04.10.2016 under Sections 406/498A IPC, registered at Police Station Women, Sector 17, Chandigarh. Notice of motion was issued in this case limited to the extent of exploring an amicable resolution of the dispute between the parties. It was noticed by this Court on 17.01.2018 that the petitioner and respondent No.2 were amenable to part ways. CRM No.M-34848 of 2017 -2offered a sum of `20,00,000/- in lieu of all claims of respondent No.2 and sought visitation rights qua both the minor children to the petitioner as well as the grand-parents. Respondent No.2 had expressed reservations in respect to visitation rights to the grand-parents and proposed a sum of `30,00,000/-. The matter was adjourned.

The petitioner as well as respondent No.2, duly identified by their counsel, are present in Court today.

The petitioner, at this stage, states that he is not ready and willing to part with any amount over and above `20,00,000/- and he is not ready to settle the matter unless and until, he is granted custody of both the minor children. He is not even ready to settle for visitation rights for which respondent No.2 is agreeable as on date.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw this petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
