**** MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) Due to the outbreak of pandemic COVID-19, the instant case is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing. Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for directing the official respondent No.1 to protect life and liberty of the petitioner and his family from the hands of respondent No.2 along with other police official, as respondent No.2 along with other police officials continuously raiding the house/premises of the petitioner without any warrant. A further prayer has also been made for taking legal action against respondent No.2 for misusing his official power. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Luvinder Sofat, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents (State). Advance copy of the paper book has already been supplied to the learned State counsel through e-mail.
