IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT

CHANDIGARH CRM M-34830 of 2015 Date of decision : 08.02.2016 Manpreet Singh ....Petitioner V/s State of Punjab & ors.

....Respondents BEFORE : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA

Present:

Mr. V.S. Rana, Advocate for Ms. Renu Bala Gautam, Advocate for the petitioner. RAJAN GUPTA J.

Petitioner has sought a direction to take appropriate action against respondents no. 3 to 6. Further praying for settingaside of report, Annexure P-6 dated 04.07.2014. It is also prayed that a FIR be registered against official respondents on the basis of complaint dated 30.11.2012 and representation dated 24.02.2014. Learned counsel for the petitioner has argued that perusal of complaint made by him would show that cognizable offence is made out. However, officials had failed to take any action.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. In my considered view prayer made in the petition is totally vague and does not disclose any cause of action. It is inexplicable how prayer has been made for initiating action against respondents no. 3 to 6. It appears that petitioner is a habitual complainant. By filing petition under section 482 Cr.P.C. he intends to settle score with his opponents. Petition is totally misconceived and is hereby dismissed.
