(Oral) Learned counsel submits that the petitioner had moved a complaint/representation dated 01.08.2016 (Annexure P-1) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur (respondent No.2) alleging therein that her parents-in-law have been causing cruelty by misappropriating her dowry articles but till date no action has been taken against them by the police. In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur (respondent No.2), to look into the complaint/representation dated 01.08.2016 (Annexure P-1), filed by the petitioner and conduct fair investigation, in accordance with law.
