**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No. 164 dated 25.11.2017 under Section 448 IPC registered at Police Station Majitha, District Amritsar (Annexure P-1) and offence under Section 376/511 IPC has been added lateron, on the basis that a compromise has been entered into between the parties. Learned counsel for the petitioner herein contends that a reading of the FIR would reflect that there is no allegation of an offence under Section 376 IPC. It is also contended that the matter is still under investigation and the challan has not been presented. Notice of motion.

Mr. Ankush Thakral, Advocate, has appeared and filed vakalatnama on behalf of the respondent No.2, who admits that the compromise between the parties has been effected. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and in view of the fact that the challan has not been presented and a compromise has been arrived at, let the parties concerned to appear before the Investigating Officer on 28.08.2018 and suffer a statement to that effect, who will then proceed accordingly.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
