The prayer made in the present petition is for quashing the order dated 03.01.2025, vide which the junior and similar situated employees of the petitioner were promoted as Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer. 2.
Learned counsel submits that regarding the claim as raised in the present petition, a representation dated 10.01.2025, Annexure P-7, has been submitted, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 10.01.2025 within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
