Prayer in this writ petition is for setting aside order-in-original dated 15.01.2025 (Annexure P-8) passed by respondent No.3. 2.

Admittedly, order dated 15.01.2025 is an appealable order. Rule of exhaustion of alternate remedy is a rule of discretion, however, it is a settled position that interference in exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 of Constitution of India should be caused only in exceptional circumstances and not as a matter of routine. We do not find any merit in the plea raised by learned counsel for petitioners that as there is violation of principles of natural justice, present writ petition should be entertained. CWP-8869-2025 (O&M) -2grounds as raised in this writ petition are very well within the realm of consideration by the appropriate statutory authority. 3.

Learned counsel for petitioner is unable to point out any such exceptional ground which calls for interference in this case by passing the statutory remedy available to the petitioners. 4.

In the given facts and circumstances as above, writ petition is dismissed with liberty to petitioners to avail alternate remedy(ies) available to them in accordance with law. It is clarified that there is no expression of opinion on the merits of the matter.
