Prayer made in the present petition is to appoint the petitioner to the post of Assistant Professor (College Cadre) in the Punjabi subject under Freedom Fighter Category.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has obtained 56 marks, while respondent No.4 with 53, was selected vide list dated 17.01.2025, Annexure P-12, however, her appointment has been withheld. 3.

Learned State counsel on instructions from Mrs. Saru Sharma, Law Officer, Higher Education, Mohali submits that the result of the petitioner has been withheld as there is some issue in his experience certificate, which is under consideration which shall be done within a period of 1 month, which satisfies the learned counsel for the petitioner.
