Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to re-fix the initial pay of the petitioner as District Science Supervisor w.e.f. 15.08.1995.

Learned State counsel refers to the preliminary objection of the written statement dated 14.07.2004 filed by way of District Education Officer, (SE), wherein it has been stated that the petitioner while working as a Lecturer in the Govenment Senior Secondary School, was transferred at his own request to Office of District Education Officer, Bathinda against the post of District Science Supervisor, however, neither being appointed nor promoted to the post, was not entitled to the relief as claimed, to which there was no rebuttal by way of filing any replication.
