*** MANOJ BAJAJ , J.(ORAL) The petitioner-Jasveer Singh @ Gopi has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.144 dated 24.09.2016 under Sections 307, 148, 149 of IPC and Section 25, 27 of Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Sadar Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural). In response to the notice, learned counsel for the State has filed reply by way of affidavit of Prabhjot Kaur, PPS, DSP Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural) on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3. It is revealed that after the investigation, cancellation report has been prepared on 10.02.2018 which is based on the recommendation of the SHO dated 10.08.2017. It is further stated in the reply that the cancellation report is yet to be filed in the Court and the same shall be filed after approval from SSP, Ludhiana (Rural).
