The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the accused-petitioner appeared before the Trial Court on 25.11.2021 and the next date was inadvertently noted down as 22.12.2022 because of which the petitioner was not able to appear on the next date before the Trial Court i.e. on 22.12.2021. He further contends that the petitioner is still willing to appear before the Trial Court and join the proceedings.
