ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks quashing of seniority list dated 13.11.2019 (Annexure P-2) pursuant to which alleged juniors to the petitioner have been placed above the petitioner and promoted to the post of Deputy Superintendent (Civil) by ignoring the petitioner. 2.

He submitted representation objecting that merely on the basis of a tentative seniority list many employees who joined later to the petitioner have been placed above him. Representation dated 29.04.2022 (Annexure P-9) has not been adverted till date. Hence, the writ petition. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner argues that until final seniority list is prepared no promotions could have been made on tentative basis.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner also seeks decision on the pending representation, as suggested by learned State counsel.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to look into the representation dated 29.04.2022 (Annexure P-9) of the petitioner and pass an administrative order, in accordance with law. 8.

Let the needful be done as expeditiously as possible. 9.
