RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Affidavit of Rajinder Singh Sohal, PPS, Superintendent of Police (STF), District S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali), on behalf of the State, filed in Court today is taken on record.

Through this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for grant of six weeks' interim bail to petitioner Neeraj Harsana in a case arising from FIR No.22 dated 29.12.2017 registered under Sections 21, 22 and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station STF, SAS Nagar (Mohali).

According to the reply filed by the State, wife of the petitioner has given birth to a girl child through caesarean operation. Father of the petitioner expired in June, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is none RAVINDER SINGH 2018.09.11 08:57 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document to look after the wife of the petitioner. Therefore, he may be granted

-2CRM-M-36071 of 2018 interim bail for six weeks.

In view of above factual aspect, petitioner is granted interim bail for six weeks from the date of his release, on furnishing bail and surety bonds to the satisfaction of trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned. On completion of six weeks, he shall surrender at jail gate.
