The petitioners have been in custody w.e.f. 4.9.2013 for having been found in possession of 7500 intoxicating tablets containing diphenoxylate salt.
In view of all the prosecution witnesses having been examined, I do not deem it appropriate to consider the statements lest the case of the petitioners or the prosecution should prejudice. Petition is dismissed expecting that the trial would be concluded within a period of two months.
