The prayer in the present Criminal Writ Petition filed under Section 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner by providing adequate security and to decide the representation dated 27.02.2024 (Annexure P-2) moved by the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Lakhveer Singh, submits that the decision would be taken on the said representation and the same would be decided within a period of four weeks from today.

In view of the statement given by learned State counsel, the present petition is disposed of.

It is made clear that the State shall remain bound by its statement given in Court today.
