Learned State counsel, on instructions, contends that the matter has been rendered infructuous since the petitioner was reinstated in service with effect from 04.09.2001, and the period of service with effect from the date of termination, i.e., from 23.03.1999 to 03.09.2001 has been counted as duty period vide order dated 21.01.2004. She also contends that the petitioner was later regularised with effect from 01.10.2003, and is working as Science Master in State cadre as of now.
