The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 for quashing of DDR No.20 dated 01.08.2024 registered at Police Station Jamalpur, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana in FIR No.165 dated 30.07.2024 under Sections 323, 324, 427, 506 IPC registered at Police Station Jamalpur, District Police Commissionerate Ludhiana. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner further contends that he would be satisfied in case his representation dated 27.08.2024 (Annexure P-7) be decided in a time bound manner.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner and further without commenting upon the merits of the case, the Commissioner of Police concerned is directed to decide the representation dated 27.08.2024 (Annexure P-7) within a period of two months from the date of passing of this order, by passing a speaking order.
