(Oral) It is contended that private respondents No. 6 to 10 are giving threats to the petitioner to kill him and as a matter of fact, he had been given beatings by them on one occasion. The reason for the same is that niece of Rajinder Singh @ Jeet - respondent No.6, namely, Harjot Kaur had eloped with Brahamdeep Singh, a close relative of the petitioner and private respondents suspect an active involvement of the petitioner in the episode.
