**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J (ORAL) The petitioner has sought a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for the release of the alleged detenues, as mentioned in para 3 of the petition, who are stated to be illegally detained by the private respondents. 2.

In the affidavit filed by Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, it is stated that the allegations were enquired into and it was found that the alleged detenues were earlier working in the Shri Brick Kiln but on 22.04.2023, they were dropped in a Mahindra Bolero at Sambli, U.P. The statement of the owner of the driver of the aforementioned vehicle was also recorded to this effect which is at Annexure R-1/T. The statement of an alleged detenue, namely, Sandeep, who is the husband of the petitioner, had been recorded wherein it is stated that a false complaint had been made and they had not been detained.

In view of the above, no further orders are called for at this stage and the petition stands disposed of.
