RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing Rapat No.12 dated 07.11.2015 under Section 182 IPC pertaining to Police Station Bhargo Camp., District Jalandhar as well as all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-3).

Pursuant to orders dated 23.08.2018 and 15.10.2018 of this Court, learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, has submitted reports vide letter bearing Nos.259 dated 06.10.2018 and 279 dated 05.11.2018 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide Endst. Nos.2550G/JRK dated 09.10.2018 and 2561G/JRK dated 13.11.2018, respectively. According to the reports of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar, Rapat No.12 dated 07.11.2015 is still pending and RAVINDER SINGH 2018.11.27 11:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document compromise entered into between the parties is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue inflruence. No accused has been

Considering the aforesaid reports of learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Jalandhar and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, aforesaid Rapat No.12 dated 07.11.2015 and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, subject to payment of costs of `10,000/-, out of which `3,000/- shall be deposited with the Bar Association of Punjab and Haryana High Court, `7,000/- with the Punjab and Haryana High Court Legal Services Committee within one week from today, failing which this petition shall be deemed to be dismissed.

Disposed of accordingly.

List on 18.12.2018, for production of receipt with regard to deposit of aforesaid costs.
