&) - / 01 -1-2 * * * * Present : Mr. A.P.S. Guliani, Advocate for the petitioners. Mr. G. S. Salwara, Deputy Advocate General, Haryana. Mr. H. P. S. Ishar, Advocate for respondent No.2. The instant petition is for quashing of FIR No.75 dated 11.02.2014 registered under Sections 406, 4980A, 323, 506 and 1200B IPC at Police Station Sector 5, District Panchakula and the consequent proceedings arising out of the same, on the basis of written compromise (Annexure P02) arrived at between the parties before the mediation and conciliation centre of this court. The FIR in this case was got registered by respondent No.2 against the petitioners who are her husband and mother0in0law respectively.
The parties had arrived at a settlement before the mediation and conciliation centre of this court. The complainant is present in court. A draft of 5,00,000/0 has been handed over to her. RAJ KUMAR 2015.12.24 10:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
Copy of the same has been placed on record. The complainant states that she has no objection if the FIR is quashed. This statement has been made in view of the terms settled before the mediation and conciliation centre of this court. Learned counsel for the State on instructions submits that petitioners are the only accused and respondent no.2 is the only aggrieved person in this FIR.
No useful purpose would be served to keep the FIR pending.
In view of the above and the principles laid down by the Full Bench judgment of this Court in

, the instant petition is allowed and the aforesaid FIR and all consequent proceedings conducted on the basis thereof are quashed qua the petitioners. Needless to say that the parties shall remain bound by the terms of compromise and their statements made before the mediation and conciliation centre of this Court.
