By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has approached this Court inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 18.05.2016, Annexure P-2, passed by respondent No.1, directing the recovery of Rs.2,55,500/-, as a deficient stamp duty, on the registration of the Sale Deed/Wasika No.3800, dated 30.09.2013.

On 10.05.2024, this Court passed the following order:- "Request for deferment has been made on behalf of the arguing counsel for the petitioner.
