(Oral) Prayer in this 2nd petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for quashing of FIR No.172 dated 12.08.2022 registered under Sections 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Division No.8, District Ludhiana (Annexure P-1) and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of a compromise deed dated 16.03.2023 (Annexure P-2). Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the wife of respondent No.2 has also issued some of the cheques, in question. As such, she is required to be impleaded as a party in the instant petition. Learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh petition, after impleading the wife of respondent No.2 as a party.
