The present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of arrest of the petitioner in case FIR No.57 dated 19.03.2024, registered under Sections 3, 4A, 8 of the Punjab Prohibition of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 and Section 11 of the Prevision of Cruelty to Animal Act 1960 and Section 34 of IPC at Police Station Patran District Patiala (Annexure P-1). 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the present petition and the petition bearing CRM-M-18777-2024 was filed on the same day by another counsel also, it was not available on the website as to whether any earlier petition has been filed or not, therefore, this anomaly has happened and since her filing was later in time, she prays for withdrawal of the same.

In light of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a word of caution to the petitioner as well as counsel to be more vigilant in future.
