**** NIDHI GUPTA, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for quashing of FIR No. 157 dated 29.06.2012 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 376, 420 IPC at Police Station Nakodar, District Jalandhar.

Short reply dated 14.09.2024 filed by way of an affidavit of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Nakodar, District Jalandhar Rural on behalf of respondent No.1-State of Punjab in Court today is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner stands acquitted by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar vide judgment dated 11.10.2021 (Annexure R-1).
