**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No. 86 dated 10.07.2015 under Sections 307, 498-A, 34 IPC registered at Police Station Nihal Singh Wala, District Moga.

This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 21.10.2016 :- "It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the complainant. No recovery is to be effected from the petitioner and no useful purpose will be served in case he is arrested. He is also ready and willing to join investigation.

Notice of motion returnable by 16.12.2016.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Satyawan 2016.12.21 13:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

On 16.12.2016, the petitioner was directed to produce on record copy of the order to the effect that petitioner had surrendered before the trial Court and furnished the requisite bail bonds and the case was posted for today i.e. 20.12.2016.

Today learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 21.10.2016 passed by this Court, the petitioner has surrendered before the trial Court and furnished the requisite bail bonds. Learned State counsel has also admitted this factum. Consequently, this petition is allowed and the order dated 21.10.2016 is made absolute. The petition stands disposed of.
