Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to issue fresh admit card to the petitioner for appearing in the examination for the post of Naib Tehsildar, to be held on 22.05.2022.

Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that at this stage, his client would be satisfied in case the representation dated 09.05.2022 (P-7 is decided expeditiously. Notice of motion to that limited extent.

Ms. Jasleen Kaur Sidhu, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner.
