(ORAL) Case is taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 2 and 3 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondents No. 4 to 8.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have a threat from respondents No. 4 to 8.

In the present case, notice of motion was issued on 23.6.2021. As per office report, notice issued to respondents No. 4 to 8 have been received back unserved with the report of incorrect address. Notice issued to respondent No. 3 has not been received back served or otherwise.

At this stage, learned State counsel points out that the statements of the petitioners have been recorded on 11.7.2021 by Assistant GURPREET SINGH 2021.07.20 10:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRWP No. 5406 of 2021 -2Sub Inspector Raj Mohan, wherein the petitioners stated that they have no threat to their life.
