The petitioner filed this petition for issuance of direction to respondents No.2 and 3 not to harass him and about his false implication in case bearing FIR No.84 dated 17.08.2017, registered at Police Station, Amloh, District Fatehgarh Sahib for the offence punishable under Section 61 of Punjab Excise Act.
Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Netar Singh submits that in case bearing FIR No.84 dated 17.08.2017, the petitioner has been convicted by the trial Court and released on probation. The petitioner is not required by the police in any other case at this stage. In view of submission of learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to file representation before the police authorities, in the event of any threat caused to the petitioner at later stage.
