CRM No.17387 of 2020 In compliance of the order dated 28.07.2020, reply to the application by way of affidavit dated 19.08.2020 of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dinanagar, District Gurdaspur has been filed on behalf of the respondent-State. Same is taken on record. A copy thereof, has been supplied to the counsel representing the parties. Application is allowed. Complainant-Amritpal Singh is ordered to be impleaded as respondent No.2 in the petition. Amended memo of parties is taken on record.

CRM-M-18270 of 2020 {2} CRM-M-18270 of 2020 Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.71 dated 23.06.2020 registered under Sections 326, 325, 324, 323, 341, 427, 506, 148 and 149 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Dorangala, District Gurdaspur.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Bhupinder Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 28.07.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
