ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.16 dated 31.01.2018, registered under Sections 341, 323, 307, 427, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code (in short 'IPC') at Police Station City Dhuri, District Sangrur.

The operative part of the order dated 24.08.2018, vide which interim anticipatory bail has been granted to the petitioner, is reproduced as under:- "....Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that as per the allegations in the FIR, the petitioner had given an iron rod blow on the right leg knee of the complainant and similarly situated co-accused namely Heavenpreet Singh has been granted the concession of anticipatory bail vide order dated 04.05.2018 passed in CRM-M No.14972 of 2018 and another co-accused namely Happy has also been granted the concession of interim anticipatory bail vide order dated 21.05.2018 passed in CRM-M No.21589 of 2018.

CRM-M No.36450 of 2018 to the order dated 24.08.2018, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. Counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Darshan Singh, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation. In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 24.08.2018 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
