RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.225 dated 27.12.2012 registered under Sections 452, 323, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar Rural (wrongly mentioned as Jalandhar City), and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 09.05.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jalandhar, on 14.06.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Jalandhar, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.215 dated 05.07.2019, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, vide letter No.1842 G/JRK dated 06.07.2019. According to the above report, compromise arrived at between RAVINDER SINGH 2020.03.16 15:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
-2CRM-M-18552 of 2019 the parties is with their free will and without any pressure or coercion from any corner. No accused has been declared as proclaimed offender. Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.225 dated 27.12.2012 registered under Sections 452, 323, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Adampur, District Jalandhar Rural, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.
Disposed of accordingly.
