(ORAL) The petitioner is seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to grant him pay scale from the date of his regular appointment. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner had earlier been appointed on a regular pay scale but he had not been granted the benefits from the date of his original appointment. He also contends that similarly situated employees have been granted the benefit. He has sent a legal notice (Annexure P-8) to the respondents and prays that the petition may be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the same.

Issue notice to the respondents.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Anant Kataria, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Heard.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice (Annexure P-8) within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
