(ORAL) This is a petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.185 dated 31.10.2015 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Goraya, Jalandhar City (Annexure P-1) and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 has pointed out that respondent No.2 has died and it is on account of the said fact that the parties could not get the statements recorded. Even perusal of the report of the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Phillaur, would show that the parties have not appeared for recording of their statements.
