(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition is to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 5 and for not harassing the petitioner on any false criminal complaint, if lodged by the private respondent or any of their relatives because the petitioner has solemnized the marriage with Prabhjot Kaur d/o late Shri Tarsem Singh. Affidavit of Prabhjot Kaur has been placed on record stating therein that she has solemnized marriage with the present petitioner. Learned counsel for the State prays for time to verify the said affidavit as the said Prabhjot Kaur is residing in Canada. In view of the above facts, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Gurdaspur to MEENU 2020.08.07 13:53 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
