******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) As per report sent by learned trial Court, 18 witnesses have been examined and eight witnesses have been given up. Learned State counsel submits that two more witnesses have been examined, whose cross-examination was deferred on the request of defence counsel and the case is now fixed for 05.10.2019. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with submission that trial Court may be directed to dispose of the case at the earliest, preferably within a period of three months.

Dismissed as withdrawn.

Trial Court, as per letter dated 24.09.2019, is proceeding with the case by giving weekly adjournments. Trial Court is impressed upon not to accommodate the request of defence counsel for adjournment to crossexamine the witnesses. Disposal of the case be expedited and all the efforts be made to dispose of the same at the earliest, preferably within a period of four months provided the defence counsel cooperates in cross-examining the witnesses on the day their statements are recorded.
