The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 07.03.2024 (Annexure P-6) passed by Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran. 2.
On being confronted with the fact that impugned order is an appellable order, Mr. Anupam Bhardwaj seeks permission to withdraw with liberty to avail remedy of statutory appeal. However, he submits that there would be minor delay and Appellate Authority may be directed to decide appeal on merits.

Dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty. 5.
If the petitioner files appeal within a week from today, the Appellate Authority shall decide his appeal on merits.
