This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioners vide FIR No. 147 dated 01.12.2013 under Sections 420/120-B IPC at Police Station Kalanaur, district Gurdaspur, Punjab.

Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Jagir Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated December 19, 2014, petitioners have joined the investigation and are no longer required as there has been a compromise between the petitioners and the complainant.

Two drafts bearing nos. 012595 & 012596 dated 10.02.2015 for a total amount of `85,000/- in favour of Daljit Singh (respondent no. 2) has been handed-over to learned counsel for AJAY KUMAR 2015.05.14 15:18 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRM-M 35618 of 2014 respondent no. 2-complainant in the court today as a settlement of the dispute. Photocopy thereof is taken on record as mark 'A' In view of the above, order dated December 19, 2014 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
