The prayer in the present petition under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India is for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members from the hands of respondents No.4 and 8.

As a cancellation report was submitted on 16.01.2026 in FIR No.676 dated 12.11.2024 (Annexure P-11), the present petition, filed at the instance of the complainant, is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedies in accordance with law. 2.
