Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to take back the petitioner in service as Mid-Day Meal Cook-cum-Helper in the Government Senior Secondary School, Jamalpur Sheikha, District Fatehabad, and also to take action on her application dated 04.01.2024, Annexure P-5, seeking a fresh appointment. 2.

The only contention raised by learned counsel for the petitioner is that the respondents may be directed to decide the application dated 04.01.2024, submitted by the petitioner. 3.

As per facts apparent on record, the petitioner worked as Cook-cum-Helper in Mid-Day Meal Scheme till 08.10.2020. She never challenged her removal as Cook, and chose to file the instant petition after about four years, seeking a direction to decide her application, dated AVIN KUMAR 2024.05.13 09:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this judgment/order.

CWP No.8503 of 2024 [2] 04.01.2024, for appointment as Cook. It is not disputed that the respondents have not invited applications for engagement as Cook. Besides, merely because the petitioner has chosen to file an application for appointment, would not give her a right to approach this Court seeking a writ of mandamus. None of her rights has been violated either. 4.

Dismissed.
